ABOUT US

Bulsho East-African Community is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping immigrants, including newcomers, succeed by providing inclusive settlement services, guidance, counselling, interpretation, and community support.

 

Our mission is

  • To facilitate the integration and Inclusion of newcomers and diverse communities by providing access to resources that promote well-being and long-term success.
  •  We believe in building a stronger and more connected society through compassion, collaboration, and cultural understanding. Through our services and initiatives, we aim to create opportunities that help people thrive socially, economically, and personally.
  • Assists job seekers from diverse backgrounds, who are facing barriers to employment, to integrate into the Canadian job market. We achieve this by providing employment services, linking employers to skilled people and building strong networks in collaboration with community partners.
  • To help newcomer families thrive in Canada by creating opportunities to connect, learn, and succeed. Through settlement support, Welcome Dinners, city orientation tours,  youth leadership and skills training, cultural celebrations,  outdoor activities—including soccer, Soccer biking, hiking, camping, mountain adventures. —We build a welcoming, healthy, and inclusive community where everyone feels they belong.
